Corsodyl mouthwash is an intensive treatment mouthwash suitable for the treatment of early signs of gum disease, known as gingivitis.
How Does Corsodyl Mouthwash Help Treat Gum Disease?
Corsodyl treatment mouthwash is formulated for use in targeting the early signs of gum disease. Containing 0.2% of the active ingredient chlorhexidine digluconate, effective in killing plaque causing bacteria in 30 seconds whilst also forming a protective antibacterial layer over the teeth. This layer prevents plaque build up for up to 12 hours.
How Often Should Corsodyl Treament Mouthwash Be Used?
Corsodyl treatment mouthwash is a short term treatment for gum disease. Use Corsodyl Treatment Mouthwash twice day as per the following instructions:
- Using the Corsodyl bottle cap, fill with mouthwash up to the 10ml line.
- With the 10ml of mouthwash, thoroughly rinse your mouth for one minute.
- Spit out mouthwash. Do not swallow Corsodyl mouthwash.
Corsodyl Treatment Mouth is suitable for use treating the following conditioners:
- Gum disease: A one month treatment is normally recommended. If you have signs of gum disease, seek advice from your dentist whom may recommend a personalised plan.
- Mouth ulcers or oral thrush: continue to use until 2 days after healing.
- Denture sores: soak dentures in Corsodyl Treatment Mouthwash for 15 minutes twice daily.
- Dental surgery: use as directed by your dentist.
